Few years ago in South Africa, one who came very close to manage that high mission concert was South African rapper, Caspper Nyovest, who aimed to fill up the FNB stadium last year.

Nyovest’s show came close with 68,000 in attendance from the 75, 000 capacity at FNB stadium.

Though it fell short on target, it, however, inspired artistes from other African countries to set such high standards.

In Zambia, only time will tell if really Yo Maps can reach that target.

Of course, no one can negate the fact that he has risen very quickly, accumulating a fanbase of over one million on social media.

Internationally, his footprint is slowly getting into deeper waters as he aims to increase appearances of concerts across borders.

Recently, the singer was at Chipata Mandevu area at Chipata Primary School Sports Ground for a free outdoor performance to gain more influence, which saw many turn up.

Slap dee showed support for his fellow local musician by saying that he would rather support Yo Maps fill up Heroes stadium than go for a Jay-Z concert in Zambia.

“That’s no disrespect to the Jay z Hov but my brothers and sisters come first, I know everyone has their choice but Let’s fill up heroes stadium,” he said.

It is said that Congolese meastro musician, Kofi Olomide will also be having a concert on the same day as Yo Maps.

With only 45 days to go, it is left to see if the the young popular artiste can hit the mark.
