Arsenal delivered a commanding 3-0 win over Sunderland at the Emirates Stadium as they strengthened their grip on the Premier League title race with another convincing performance.
The victory sees Arsenal extend their advantage at the top of the table to nine points, with the Gunners once again showing why they remain strong favourites for the title.
Sunderland, who sit mid-table after a solid season back in the top flight, travelled to the capital looking to upset the champions-in-waiting but were largely second best.

Arsenal took control just before half-time when Martin Zubimendi fired home a low strike from outside the box, breaking the deadlock and sending the home crowd into celebrations, according to the Guardian.
The Gunners continued to press after the break, with substitute Viktor Gyökeres adding a second soon after coming on, giving Arsenal a comfortable two-goal cushion.
As Sunderland tried to chase the game, Arsenal’s quality showed on the counter-attack, and Gyökeres wrapped up the scoring deep into stoppage time with a simple finish at the back post.
Throughout the 90 minutes, Arsenal dominated possession and looked the more threatening team, while Sunderland struggled to create clear chances against a tight home defence.
The emphatic win keeps Arsenal well clear at the summit with 53 points, while Sunderland remain on 36 points, looking to build on the experience as the season heads towards the final stretch.
