Yango Zambia, part of the global tech company Yango Group, has been officially recognised as a Great Place to Work, following an independent assessment based on anonymous feedback from employees.
The certification reflects the company’s commitment to building a welcoming, ethical, and growth-oriented workplace for its local team.
Survey results show that 93% of Yango Zambia employees consider it a great place to work, a figure that stands well above global benchmarks.
Employees also highlighted a strong sense of trust and inclusion with 97% saying they felt truly welcomed from day one, 95% believing company leaders consistently reflect Yango’s core values, and 94% affirming that management operates with honesty and integrity.
Speaking on the achievement, Yango Zambia Country Head Kabanda Chewe, highlighted the company’s commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture.

She said: “This recognition means a great deal to us because it reflects the voices of our own team in Zambia. We are dedicated to building a workplace where everyone feels valued, supported, and inspired to contribute. It’s rewarding to see that our people recognise and connect with the culture we’ve worked hard to create.”
Yango Zambia’s results also point to a workplace that embraces adaptability and resilience. 94% of employees said people here quickly adapt to changes needed for the organisation’s success. In a fast-paced industry, such feedback reflects a culture that blends high performance with mutual respect.
The certification forms part of a broader recognition of Yango teams in nine countries, including Peru, Bolivia, Colombia, UAE, Pakistan, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, and Senegal. In each case, the assessment is based entirely on how employees themselves describe their workplace, making it one of the most authentic measures of organisational culture.
Since entering the Zambian market, Yango has placed equal importance on innovation and people. Alongside developing cutting-edge, tech-driven services, the company has deliberately cultivated a people-first culture that supports sustainable growth and long-term success.
This approach ensures that employees are not only equipped to perform at their best, but also feel valued, respected, and motivated. As the team continues to grow, Yango Zambia remains committed to nurturing a workplace that is fair, safe, inclusive, and inspiring.
