In a statement, FAZ General Secretary, Machacha Shepande, announced that Zambia will face World Cup-bound South Africa on November 15 before travelling to Bujumbura to take on Burundi three days later.
“The Football Association of Zambia has organised two high-profile international friendly matches for the Chipolopolo during the upcoming FIFA Window, which runs from November 10 to 18,” Shepande said.
He stated that: “Zambia will play South Africa on November 15 before heading to Bujumbura for the Burundi assignment three days later.”
He noted that the matches will play a vital role in sharpening the team’s readiness for the continental tournament, with all top players expected to feature.
