Media personality Mutale Mwanza has pleaded not guilty to a charge of harassing fellow media figure, Chinyemba Daisy Mwansa Lusumpa, popularly known as Chi Chi Daisy, whom she is alleged to have publicly called a prostitute on social media.
The 38-year-old journalist appeared before Magistrate Mbuyuana Sinvula in Lusaka, confirmed her personal details, and stated that she resided in Chilanga.
She told the court she understood the charge but denied any wrongdoing.
Mwanza is charged with harassment using electronic communication, contrary to Section 69 of the Cyber Security and Cyber Crimes Act No. 2 of 2021.

The allegation arises from a Facebook post published on her page, M-Nation, on November 7, 2024.
According to the State, the post was intended to intimidate and cause emotional distress to Chi Chi Daisy and allegedly included personal attacks and derogatory remarks about her private life and relationships.
Prosecutors argue that the language used was meant to humiliate and harass the complainant. Mwanza maintains her innocence.
Magistrate Sinvula adjourned the matter to December 22, 2025, for mention.
The case continues to attract significant public attention.
