Arrest of PF’s Nakacinda imminent, as High Court upholds conviction for him to be imprisoned for 18 months

The Lusaka High Court has issued a bench warrant for the arrest of Patriotic Front (PF) Secretary General, Raphael Nakacinda, after upholding his 18-month conviction for defamation of the President.

Nakacinda was convicted for falsely alleging that President Hakainde Hichilema was coercing judges to frustrate the PF’s legal efforts and establish a one-party state.
