Breaking! Hichilema reportedly abandons scheduled address in Chingola after ‘jerabos’ pelt stones at podium (video)

President Hakainde Hichilema has abandoned a scheduled presidential address at the recently gutted Chiwempala Market in Chingola after unruly illegal miners started throwing stones at the podium.

According to a video clip seen on Flava FM social media , the President only spoke for about two minutes when some members of the crowd began chanting “Senseli, Senseli” and throwing stones toward the podium.

Security had to be tightened and officers quickly acted and escorted the President and other officials to safety.
