The Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) says it will complete the delimitation of constituencies with full stakeholder engagement before the certification of the 2026 Register of Voters on April 30, 2026.

In a statement on Monday, ECZ Chief Electoral Officer, Brown Kasaro, said the Commission was in the final stages of preparations to carry out the exercise in line with the Constitution of Zambia (Amendment) Act No. 13 of 2025.

“The delimitation exercise will be conducted with full engagement of stakeholders and is expected to conclude before the certification of the Register of Voters, scheduled for April 30, 2026, in accordance with the Commission’s 2026 General Election Roadmap,” Kasaro said.

He added that the Commission would continue to update and engage stakeholders throughout the process to ensure transparency and timely communication.
