Ecobank Zambia has unveiled its Sungapo campaign, a customer promotion designed to celebrate the bank’s 40th anniversary by rewarding loyal clients with prizes, competitive returns, and memorable experiences.

Running from September 1 to October 3, 2025, the promotion invites new and existing customers to deposit a minimum of K40,000 into a Fixed Deposit account for at least four months.

Participants will earn an attractive 10 percent annual interest rate and automatically qualify for a draw to win K44,000 cashback, with 40 lucky winners to be announced during the 40th Anniversary Customer Celebration on October 4, 2025.

Other rewards include a luxury night for two in the Lower Zambezi and exclusive giveaways to mark the milestone.

Customers must make a fresh deposit, scan the QR code provided, and register with their Fixed Deposit Receipt Number to confirm participation.

Ecobank Zambia Managing Director, Aina Moore, said the campaign was a way of appreciating the bank’s customers.

“Sungapo is more than a campaign — it is a celebration of our journey with the Zambian people. For four decades, Ecobank has stood as a trusted financial partner, and this is our way of saying thank you,” she said.

Moore emphasized that the initiative reflected Ecobank’s commitment to financial inclusion, innovation, and customer appreciation, adding that with its strong local presence and pan-African footprint, the bank continues to empower individuals and businesses across Zambia.
