Manchester United fight back to beat Crystal Palace 2–1

Manchester United produced a second-half comeback to defeat Crystal Palace 2–1 at Old Trafford on Sunday in a dramatic Premier League encounter on Sunday.

According to Sky Sports, Palace stunned the home crowd early when Maxence Lacroix headed the visitors into the lead in the fourth minute from a set piece.

The defender’s afternoon soon took a turn, however, as he was shown a red card for bringing down Matheus Cunha inside the penalty area.

According to www.goal.com, Bruno Fernandes stepped up in the 57th minute and calmly converted the resulting spot kick to bring United level and shift the momentum.

With Palace reduced to ten men, United increased the pressure and began to dominate possession in search of a winner.

Their breakthrough came in the 65th minute when Benjamin Sesko powered home a header to complete the turnaround.

Palace attempted to respond despite being a man down, but United’s defence held firm in the closing stages.
