The Zambia Police Service has arrested two additional suspects in connection with the gruesome murder and aggravated robbery of a Chinese couple in Mariansdale, John Howard Extension, Lusaka.
The incident, reported on December 4, 2025, involved the killing of the couple at their residence, where assailants also fled with a Toyota Harrier, registration number BAH 9615.
In a statement issued in Lusaka, Public Relations Officer, Godfrey Chilabi, said the arrests followed intensified, intelligence-led operations conducted across Lusaka.
The two new arrests bring the total number of suspects now in police custody to three.
Police have also successfully recovered the stolen Toyota Harrier believed to have been used by the attackers during their escape.
“All three suspects remain in custody as investigations continue,” Chilabi stated, assuring the public that the police are committed to ensuring justice is served.
The Zambia Police Service has urged the public to remain calm and cooperate with investigators as the case progresses.
