NAPSA Star striker, Kapembwa, joins Mozambique side, Costa do So

NAPSA Stars striker, Musonda Kapembwa, has joined Mozambican side, Costa do Sol for an undisclosed fee.

Kapembwa who has been at the club for three seasons separated with the FAZ Super League side mutually.

NAPSA Stars Head Coach, Perry Mutapa, described Kapembwa as a quality player who will do well at his new club.

The coach said Kapembwa was a great inclusion to the side and contributed to the club’s success including clinching the 2022 ABSA Cup.

NAPSA Stars management confirmed the departure in an emotional statement.

“It is with mixed emotions we bid farewell to a player who has been an integral part of our team, both on and off the field. However, the club does not stand in the way of a player where progress is concerned,” read the statement.

Kapembwa left the club with numerous accolades, notably as the top scorer for two consecutive seasons.
