“The victim was seated on a chair outside her house relaxing, then the boy came and started strangling her neck from behind after which she fell on the ground,” she said.
This made the accused take advantage of her and forcefully removed her skirt, and then had unlawful carnal knowledge of her.
Munkhondya said the victim could not scream because she had been strangled by him.
When the accused heard people coming, he ran away and left the victim on the ground, bleeding.
Thereafter, she said the victim ran to seek help from people who were at the nearby church, where she explained to them what had happened.
Later, the matter was reported at Kasama Central Police Station, after which the medical report form was issued in order for her to access medical care, and the police managed to pick up the boy.
