The Zambia Premier League (ZPL) champions were paired with the historic Ivorian side during the draws held on Saturday afternoon in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Power will kick off their preliminary round campaign at home between September 19–21, likely at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola, before travelling to Abidjan for the return leg between September 26–28.

The Kitwe outfit last featured in the 2022/23 edition, exiting in the second round on away goals to Tanzania’s Simba FC.

They have yet to reach the group stage of the competition.

In the Confederation Cup, ZESCO United received what appears to be a favourable draw against Gabonese side FC 105, with the first leg set to be played away from home.
