Manchester City edged out Leeds United 1–0 in a tight Premier League encounter at Elland Road on Saturday, tightening the race at the top of the table.
The only goal of the game came just before half-time when Antoine Semenyo reacted quickest to a pinpoint cross from Rayan Aït-Nouri, finishing from close range in stoppage time to give City the lead.

City, who were without star striker Erling Haaland due to a minor injury, held firm in the second half despite Leeds’ persistent pressure.
According to the Sky Sports, the win moves Pep Guardiola’s side to within two points of league leaders Arsenal, keeping their title challenge firmly alive with ten games remaining.
The home side remained in 15th place, comfortably above the relegation zone, but disappointed not to take more from a spirited performance.
Drama spilled over at full-time as Leeds manager Daniel Farke was shown a red card following a heated protest over decisions on the touchline, adding an edgy finish to an otherwise tight contest.
City will now turn their attention to upcoming fixtures as they chase league glory, while Leeds look to build on their recent momentum to stay clear of danger.
