NAPSA Stars have received a boost ahead of the MTN Super League season after Stanbic Bank Zambia renewed its K1.5 million sponsorship to the Lusaka side.

This marks the sixth year of bank’s support for the Pensioners, with this year’s sponsorship focusing on youth development to strengthen the club’s structures.

Bank Chief Executive, Mwindwa Siakalima, hailed the partnership, describing it as six years of shared ambition, community impact, and sporting excellence.

“We are thrilled to announce a renewal of our sponsorship worth K1.5 million for the 2025/26 season—a reflection of our belief in the power of football to transform lives,” Siakalima said.

Under the renewed deal, Stanbic’s branding will continue to feature on NAPSA’s kit and at their home stadium.

Siakalima also pledged to maintain financial literacy sessions for players to help them prepare for life after football.

“This is not just a cheque, it’s a commitment to the Zambian youth, to our communities, and to the belief that sport can uplift and transform,” he added.

NAPSA Director General, Muyangwa Muyangwa, said the sponsorship renewal was both impactful and inspiring.

“This represents a commitment to building a strong, competitive football club that not only brings pride to its supporters but also nurtures talent and instills discipline, hard work, and teamwork among youths,” Muyangwa said.

He added that the renewal was a vote of confidence in the club’s journey, which they intend to honour through commitment, discipline, and excellence both on and off the pitch.

NAPSA Stars will kick off their 2025/26 campaign at home against former coach Perry Mutapa’s Green Eagles on Saturday, August 16, 2025.
