The government will ensure that each and every body of the remaining miners buried at the Sensele mine tragedy site in Chingola is recovered, Chingola District Commissioner, Rapphael Chimupi, assured, as two more bodies were interred on Thursday.

Speaking during the funeral service at Chingola Central Cemetery, Chimupi told mourners that the government would do everything possible to give a befitting burial to the trapped miners.

“Let us ensure that we retrieve the bodies of the remaining of our brothers who were trapped and perished during the mine tragedy at Sensele mine in December last year,” he said.
