Red Arrows maul FC MUZA 4-1 (see other results of matches played Saturday)


Second placed Red Arrows recorded a resounding victory away to FC MUZA to pile up pressure on league leaders ZESCO United who are only in action tomorrow.

Arrows defeated FC MUZA 4 goals to 1 and are now just a point behind ZESCO who are on 36 points with a game in hand which will be against Prison Leopards on Sunday.

Saddam Phiri hattrick and Paul Katema penalty was enough to demolish FC MUZA at Nakambala Stadium.

Andrew Phiri goal for FC MUZA proved to be a consolation goal in the end and condemned the Mazabuka side to a heavy loss.

Katema struck a penalty in the 14th minute before Phiri could double the score in the 34th minute.

Phiri pulled one back five minutes after half time, but his name sake from the Air Force sponsored team struck in the 83rd and 88th minutes to complete the hattrick.
