Zambian striker, Daka, makes EA sports team of the weak

Chipolopolo striker, Patson Daka, has earned a place in the EA Sports Team of the Week following his heroics in the World Cup qualifying matches against Congo Brazzaville and Niger.

The Leicester City striker scored a brace in Zambia’s 4-2 win over Congo Brazzaville last Friday and went on to score Chipolopolo’s lone goal in the 2-1 defeat at the hands of Niger.

Daka alongside Egypt’s Mohammed Salah are the only Africans that have made it into EA Sports FC’s 10th set of Team of the Week (TOTW) cards in EA FC 24.

Salah scored four goals to help Egypt thump Djibouti 6-0 in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Despite being in fine form, the England based striker still lacks game time at his club Leicester City thus far in the Championship.

Despite this, the club took to social media to announce Daka’s inclusion in the EA Sports team of the week.

“Leicester City Patson gets a place in the EA SPORTS FC #TOTW, after scoring three goals for Zambia ⚽ 🇿🇲.”

Earlier in the week, the club using its social media platforms congratulated Daka for scoring in the World Cup qualifier against Congo, much to the displeasure of football fans.
