Maria Zaloumis, 40, popularly known as Zedfarmer, of Tuzini Farms in the Munyama area of Chisamba District, has been arrested alongside her Nigerian husband and three employees in connection with the murder of Enock Simfukwe.

According to Police Spokesperson Rae Hamoonga, Simfukwe died at Kabwe Central Hospital around 01:10 hours on August 17, 2025.

He had been rushed to the hospital by police officers after being detained for Acts Intended to Cause Grievous Harm, following a report made by Zaloumis alleging that the deceased had been hired by unknown persons to pour acid on her.
