“Today we’re proud to announce a partnership with Midjourney, to license their aesthetic technology for our future models and products, bringing beauty to billions.”

He emphasized the strategic value of the deal, noting that the partnership reflects Meta’s effort to team up with leading industry players whose expertise complements its own.

“We are incredibly impressed by Midjourney. They have accomplished true feats of technical and aesthetic excellence, and we are thrilled to be working more closely with them,” he added.

Through the integration of Midjourney’s advanced V7 image model and its new VI video generator, Meta is set to significantly enhance the quality and creativity of its AI tools.

The move positions the company to remain competitive in the fast-paced AI race against rivals such as OpenAI’s Sora and Google’s VEO.
