Arsenal moved seven points clear at the top of the Premier League after a commanding 2-0 victory over Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday, once again showcasing their dominance from set pieces.

Viktor Gyokeres opened the scoring in the 14th minute from another well-worked corner routine involving Declan Rice and Gabriel, with the Swede tapping in from close range.

According to The Independent, Arsenal were in cruise control by the 35th minute, this time from open play, as a sweeping counter-attack ended with Rice thumping a header past Burnley goalkeeper Martin Dubravka.

Burnley failed to register a goal attempt in the first half and, despite showing some improvement after the break, could not prevent Arsenal from recording their seventh consecutive clean sheet in all competitions.

Arsenal now sit on 25 points from 10 games, while Bournemouth, who play on Sunday, are second with 18 points. Burnley remain 17th with 10.
