Zambia Decides 2026! Voters show enthusiasm as queues surface at break of dawn

Zambians are going to the polls on Thursday to elect new leaders in an election that will determine the country’s political direction, with voters casting ballots at polling stations across the country.

In some areas, voters had already queued before polling stations opened at 06:00 hours, with lines continuing to stretch as more people arrived to cast their ballots.
