Chelsea survived a late scare to book their place in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals after a dramatic 4-3 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday night.
Andrey Santos opened the scoring inside five minutes, setting the tone for a dominant first-half display by the Blues.
According to Chelseafc.com, the young Brazilian combined well with Jamie Gittens, who provided the assist and later set up Tyrique George for Chelsea’s second in the 15th minute.

The visitors extended their lead shortly before the break when Estevao capitalised on high pressing by Santos to chip calmly over goalkeeper Jose Sa.
However, Wolves came out revitalised after the interval. Forward Tolu Arokodare pulled one back in the 48th minute, before David Moller Wolfe reduced the deficit further with 15 minutes remaining.
Chelsea were reduced to ten men when Liam Delap, returning from a two-month injury layoff, was sent off for two bookable offences.
But Gittens restored the two-goal cushion with a stunning long-range strike — his first goal for the club.
Wolfe netted his second in added time to make it 4-3, but the ten-man Blues held on to secure a hard-fought victory and a place in December’s quarter-finals, where they will face Cardiff City away.
