Chipolopolo squad jets out to Comoros for Saturday’s Group H Africa Cup of nations qualifier

The Zambia National team has left for Comoros for Saturday’s Group H Africa Cup of Nations in Moroni.

Coach Avram Grant’s lads left aboard a chartered flight and would arrive in Moroni mid afternoon.

According to a statement issued in Lusaka on Friday by the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ), the team is expected to train at the Stade Malouizini at 21:00 hours.

Already qualified, Zambia tops Group H with 12 points while Ivory Coast are second on 10 points and have also confirmed their ticket as hosts.

Comoros is in third place with six points while Lesotho are rock bottom on one point.

The AFCON would be held in Ivory Coast in January 2023.
