The changes come just weeks after the President dismissed Elijah Muchima and Elias Mubanga from their positions as Minister of Health and Minister of SME Development, respectively.

According to a statement issued by State House Chief Communications Specialist, Clayson Hamasaka, Chilekwa has been replaced by Dr. Tuesday Bwalya, who becomes the new Muchinga Permanent Secretary.

“The President has extended his gratitude to Reverend Chilekwa for his service to the nation and offered God’s blessings to all newly appointed officials,” Hamasaka stated.
