Manchester United secured their third consecutive Premier League victory on Saturday, defeating Brighton 4-2 at Old Trafford.
Fans may have feared another setback against a mid-table opponent and a failure to build on last weekend’s win over Liverpool, but Ruben Amorim’s side looked confident in the first half, taking a two-goal lead through Matheus Cunha and a deflected strike from Casemiro.

According to ESPN, United extended their advantage after the break when Bryan Mbeumo netted on the hour mark.
However, Amorim’s men were forced to endure a tense finale after Danny Welbeck pulled one back with a free kick just over 15 minutes from time, followed by a stoppage-time header from Charalampos Kostoulas.
Mbeumo then sealed the win in emphatic fashion, breaking free in the dying moments to smash home his second of the match and ensure all three points for United.
