Music industry players react to T-Sean’s latest album, ‘Kwacha’

Music industry players have reacted positively to multi talented dancehall sensation T-Sean’s latest album ‘Kwacha’.

The artiste, born Richard Mulenga, Friday released a 26 song star-studded album featuring the likes of Yo Maps, Jay Rox, T Bwoy and T-Low among an array of various talents.

The project which dropped at midnight Zambian time via the artiste’s social media platforms combines dancehall and afro-beat sounds.

The album which is a follow up to his last solo effort ‘Purpose’ released in 2021 is under his own record company Baila Empire.

Various artistes including Jay Rox, Kaladoshas, Roberto and Bobby East took to their official social media accounts to pay tribute to T-Sean.

Jay Rox who collaborated with T-Sean on the album’s first single ‘Kangwa’ described the album as flawless.

“Lyrics 100, Production 100, Content 100, Song arrangement 100. Now this is how an album should sound like. Congratulations my brother T-Sean, this is a top album,” the post read.

Kaladoshas described the album as a masterpiece while XYZ Chief Executive Officer, Bobby East, called T-Sean an amazing artiste.

“Tag my brother T-Sean and give him his flowers. He is an amazing artiste,” East wrote.

Badman Shapi of Urban Hype and Roberto also echoed the praises.

Kwacha (Good Morning) is available on all major streaming platforms and the first single ‘Kangwa’ whose video was released four days ago has over 63 thousand views on YouTube.

In just 18 hours of its release, the album stands at 187 thousand plays on streaming platform Boomplay.
