Aston Villa remain firmly in the Premier League title chase after Morgan Rogers scored twice in a dramatic 3-2 comeback victory away to West Ham.
Villa fell behind twice — first to Mateus Fernandes’ goal after just 29 seconds, then to a poacher’s strike from Jarrod Bowen.
However, a Konstantinos Mavropanos own goal cancelled out the opener before Rogers hauled Villa level at 2-2. The England midfielder then capped a sparkling performance with a stunning 25-yard strike to seal the win.

According to ESPN, a 10th victory from 11 matches — Villa’s best run in more than a century — leaves them three points behind leaders Arsenal, while West Ham remain rooted in the relegation zone.
Before kick-off, the hosts paid an emotional tribute to their former captain, manager and record appearance holder Billy Bonds, who died two weeks ago.
Former West Ham teammates, including Sir Trevor Brooking and Alvin Martin, were on the pitch, while an image of Bonds lifting the FA Cup hung in front of the stand named in his honour.
