Pay Now Zambia has officially rebranded to Network International (Network), a leading fintech company in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, after securing regulatory approval.

The move underscores the company’s commitment to advancing digital payment solutions and enabling Zambian businesses.
Mpho Sadiki, Group Managing Director for Merchant Services in Africa (excluding Egypt) at Network International, confirmed the development in a statement issued in Lusaka on Wednesday.

Sadiki said the rebrand represented the firm’s commitment to delivering world-class payment solutions tailored to the Zambian market and fostering a thriving digital economy.

“Through its diverse suite of payment products and services, Network enables merchants and financial institutions to conduct seamless transactions while offering diverse payment options that cater to the evolving needs of consumers,” he said.

He noted that for more than 30 years, the company had built trusted relationships with leading financial institutions, merchants and payment networks, facilitating the delivery of secure and innovative solutions such as POS, QR code payments, mobile payments and Soft POS technology.

“The rebranding is a significant step in Network’s journey to connect Africa through digital payments,” Sadiki said.

He added that the transition builds on the successful acquisition of DPO Group in 2021, which enabled the company to expand to 21 countries, reinforcing its commitment to the continent’s digital transformation.

Sadiki further highlighted that the company’s investment aligned with Zambia’s National Payment Systems Vision and Strategy 2023–2027, which aims to support the shift toward a digital economy while ensuring the country keeps pace with regional and global developments.

“The United Nation’s Development Program on the role of digital mobile money in Zambia states that mobile money transactions surged to K452 billion in 2023, up 50 percent from K295.8 billion in 2022,” he noted, adding that this growth reflected the high adoption rate of mobile money services among Zambians.
