Manchester United and Bournemouth played out a thrilling 4–4 draw in the Premier League on a chaotic night at Old Trafford, with both sides mounting dramatic comebacks in an eight-goal classic.

Eli Junior Kroupi scored the equaliser in the 84th minute to rescue a point for Bournemouth after United had surged ahead with two goals in three minutes.

According to The Independent, Bruno Fernandes fired in a superb free-kick before Matheus Cunha briefly put the hosts in front late on.

Bournemouth had trailed 2–1 at half-time but struck within a minute of the restart when Evanilson capitalised to level matters. Marcus Tavernier then won a free-kick on the edge of the area after being fouled by Casemiro and converted it himself to give the visitors the lead.

United, playing outside Ruben Amorim’s preferred 3-4-3 system for the first time under his management, had earlier impressed and were deserving of their half-time advantage after goals from Amad Diallo and Casemiro came either side of Antoine Semenyo’s clinical equaliser.

Bournemouth threatened a late winner, but goalkeeper Senne Lammens made crucial saves in the closing stages to secure a point for United, as both sides were left visibly frustrated at full-time following a breathless contest.
