Zambia league log leaders, Power Dynamos coach Mwenya Chipepo has threatened to quit the Copperbelt Energy Corporation (CEC) sponsored clubs if insults on him persists.

“I don’t like these supporters, their behaviour is very bad, I don’t know, I am just waiting for the contract to end then they can find a suitable coach,” Chipepo said according to Zambian Football Magazine.

He said he cannot be insulted all the time adding that despite Power being on top of the table, and leading 3-nil fans continue showering him with unpalatable language.

“People are insulting us, I don’t have security here, how can I stay at a club without security, I am an officer and we are disciplined but when I come here I feel insulted, how can you feel if it was you working very hard and getting insulted in the end?’

“Look at the team,” Chipepo said the Kitwe side were down when he came and now when the team goes on top, the insults increase.

He said it was better he switched to another team where fans would respect him.

Power six points clear on 35 points and trailing behind is Green Eagles Football Club of Choma, Zambia’s Southern Province.
