Whereas Yo Maps and Mordecai have dropped simultaneous releases in the form of video and single for ‘Nga Te Ba Ya Weh’ and ‘Far Away’ respectively, Pompi’s release is for a music video of a song that is off his ‘Pole Pole’ album dubbed ‘Soon and Very Soon’.

But as far as attention goes, Yo Maps has predictably received the most with his latest song getting mixed reviews on social media.

Industry peers such as Organised Family praised the song for it’s spiritual message.

The group said the timing of the release was perfect as it was a song that dropped on Easter Friday.

“Right song at the right time, pa Easter Holiday kuchoselapo chi song cha ba Jahweh, power song from the special one- Yo Boy,” the group wrote on the comment section of Yo Maps’ post announcing the single release.

However, one Facebook subscriber’s post summed up the mixed reactions to the song.

While others praised it, some believe the song was underwhelming.

“Ati it’s just a prank Yo maps yo hit song will be released in the evening 🙂.”
