Maimbolwa Mulikelela, Managing Editor of Zambia Monitor, said the meeting allowed the publisher to present its digital strategy, highlight its ability to reach large online audiences, and explore opportunities for stronger collaboration between media, innovators and technology players.

“As the publishers of Zambia Monitor, we are proud to host the Yango Africa and Tide Media teams. This engagement affirms our leadership in Zambia’s digital media space and reflects the confidence industry giants have in our capabilities,” Mulikelela said.

She stated that Zambia Monitor shared Yango’s vision of expanding the digital footprint, strengthening media collaboration and delivering impactful journalism to audiences across the country and beyond.

Mulikelela said the endorsement from Yango Africa highlighted the influence and reach the media outlet had built, and that the organization was looking forward to leveraging the partnership to innovate, grow and shape the future of online media in Zambia.

She added that discussions highlighted the increasing convergence of technology and news production and the need for long-term partnerships that could expand reach, drive innovation and boost the impact of digital journalism.
