Fulham battled back to earn a point in the late Sunday kick-off after a tense 1-1 draw with Manchester United at Craven Cottage.

Ruben Amorim’s side started brightly, with Matheus Cunha rattling the woodwork early on, while Bruno Fernandes squandered a chance to put United ahead by missing a first-half penalty.

In a match reported by The Independent, the deadlock was broken after the restart when Leny Yoro rose to meet a corner, his header deflecting off Rodrigo Muniz for an own goal that handed the visitors the lead.

But the hosts hit back as substitute Emile Smith Rowe found space in the box to sweep home Alex Iwobi’s cross for the equaliser.

Despite late pressure from both sides, neither could find a winner, leaving the points shared.
