Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Minister, Mulambo Haimbe, has announced that President Isaac Herzog of Israel will undertake a State Visit to the Republic of Zambia from November 10 to 11, 2025.

Haimbe said the planned visit reciprocates President Hakainde Hichilema’s visit to Israel in June 2023 and reaffirms the commitment of the two countries to further strengthen their bilateral relations anchored on mutual respect and shared aspirations for sustainable development.

In a statement issued in Lusaka by Ministry Principal Public Relations Officer, Eva Chanda, Haimbe said the two Heads of State were expected to hold Bilateral Talks at State House within the framework of the General Framework Agreement of Cooperation signed in 2023.

“The discussions will focus on strengthening collaboration in key areas such as agriculture, health, education, and technology, as well as trade and investment,” Haimbe said.

He added that President Hichilema and President Herzog were also expected to exchange views on regional and global matters of mutual interest, including peace and security.

Haimbe further stated that the visit by President Herzog underscored the warm and growing friendship between Zambia and Israel, providing an opportunity to consolidate development cooperation that directly contributed to Zambia’s economic transformation agenda.

“President Herzog is expected to depart Zambia upon the conclusion of his official programme on 11th November, 2025,” he said.
