Security breaches, safety fears disrupt Xaven’s Solwezi performance

An entertainment event scheduled to take place in Solwezi has been disrupted after a security lapse at the venue forced popular artiste Xaven to cut short her performance.

In a statement issued on Thursday, Kaole Reloaded Management confirmed that while Hype Nation was the official event organiser, Kaole Reloaded participated as a co-host by providing the venue.

Management explained that the event was affected after microphones were stolen, raising serious safety concerns.

“As a result of the security lapse, safety issues arose and Xaven made the decision to leave the stage,” the statement read.

Kaole Reloaded Management apologised to patrons who attended the event and extended a special apology to Xaven and her team, acknowledging the disappointment caused by the incident.

The venue further assured the public that discussions were underway with the organisers to strengthen security measures and prevent similar occurrences in the future.

“We regret the inconvenience caused and are engaging with the organisers to ensure improved security for future events at our venue,” the management said.

Meanwhile, Xaven also addressed the incident on her official Facebook page, stressing that safety remained her top priority.

“My priority will always be safety for myself, my team, and the audience. I appreciate Kaole Reloaded for addressing the situation and to the fans who showed love and understanding. We’ll meet again on a better stage,” she wrote.
