Lusaka Telecom Solutions (LTS) says it has completed the construction and upgrade of 65 network tower projects for multiple telecommunications customers across Zambia in 2025, marking a major boost to the country’s digital infrastructure and connectivity ambitions.

LTS Group Business Development Manager, Mohamed Abd El-Razek, said the projects—carried out across several provinces—comprised both new tower builds and upgrades to existing sites aimed at improving network capacity, expanding coverage, and enhancing service reliability.

Abd El-Razek said the nationwide rollout is expected to strengthen connectivity for communities, businesses, and essential public services, supporting Zambia’s broader digital transformation efforts.

He said the milestone reflects the company’s expanding role in delivering large-scale telecommunications infrastructure in Zambia.

“Completing 65 network tower construction and upgrade projects within one year is a strong demonstration of LTS’s technical expertise, execution capability, and commitment to Zambia’s connectivity goals,” he said.

El-Razek noted that the initiative went beyond physical infrastructure.

“These projects are about closing connectivity gaps, enabling economic growth, and ensuring that communities and businesses have access to reliable communication services,” he added.

With a growing track record in tower deployment, upgrades, and technical support, LTS said it would continue investing in advanced technologies and strategic partnerships aimed at delivering scalable, reliable, and future-ready power, ICT infrastructure, and fibre-optic solutions.
