A TikTok video captured an unexpected and bizarre moment during a funeral, leaving viewers both shocked and amused.

Posted on February 2 by @iamstogie, the clip shows men carrying a casket to its burial spot, briefly reports on Sunday.

As they were lowering it into the grave, one man lost his footing and tumbled headfirst into the open grave, creating a moment of mishap during the solemn ceremony.

Online viewers found the incident hilarious, with many sharing jokes and reactions.

Some even playfully speculated whether the fall had cultural significance. Briefly News noted that in certain traditions, such as among the Xhosa, a living twin may briefly lie in the grave of a deceased twin while wearing the late twin’s clothes—a ritual sometimes observed before the official burial.
