National Reconciliation Party for Unity and Prosperity Presidential Candidate, Brian Mundubile, has accused UPND cadres of attacking musicians in Solwezi District.
Mundubile alleged that four musicians were brutally attacked on Thursday in Solwezi, North Western Province, by suspected UPND cadres.
In a statement issued in Solwezi on Thursday, Mundubile named the musicians involved in the allegation as Rich Bizzy, Shenky, Chester and Kadafi.
He said the identities of the alleged attackers were known and claimed that footage of the incident provided proof of their involvement.

The NRPUP leader further called on law enforcement to take immediate action against those involved.
“I challenge you now to instruct the police to arrest these cadres immediately,” he stated.
Mundubile also urged external observers to take note of the situation ahead of the upcoming polls.
“I also call on the international community to address this violence and call for peace before, during and after the 13th August general elections,” he said.
He described the alleged attack as part of a broader pattern of political intimidation that must be rejected by voters across the country.
