‘It’s been incredibly tough,’ Prince William’s wife, Catherine, shares cancer ordeal

United Kingdom’s Princess of Wales, Catherine, has described moments after being discovered with cancer as tough.

“It has been an incredibly tough couple of months for our entire family, but I had a fantastic medical team who have taken great care of me ,” Catherine stated.

This is according to a video transcript from Catherine accessed by Zambia Monitor on Saturday.

In January this year, Catherine under went major abdominal surgery in London and at the time it was the condition was non-cancerous.

The surgery, she narrated was successful but that tests after the operation found cancer.

“My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventive chemotherapy and I am in the early stages of treatment,” Catherine said.

“This of course came as huge shock and William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family,” the princess of Wales said.

She assured that she was now well and getting stronger as she focused on things that would help her heal the body and mind as well spirit .

“I am now thinking of those affected by cancer and everyone facing the disease, please do not lose hope .You are not alone, “Catherine assured.
