Leeds United took a major step towards Premier League survival with a dominant 3-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers, a result that all but confirms Wolves’ relegation from the top flight.
After securing an away win against Manchester United earlier in the week, goals from James Justin, Noah Okafor and Dominic Calvert-Lewin handed Leeds United back-to-back league victories for the first time this season. The win moves Daniel Farke’s side nine points clear of 18th-placed Tottenham Hotspur.
According to Sky Sports, Tottenham could mathematically relegate Wolverhampton Wanderers with a win over Brighton, but Wolves are effectively down already. They trail West Ham United by 15 points with only five games remaining and face a significant goal difference deficit.

Leeds opened the scoring in the 18th minute when Justin produced a stunning overhead kick from close range after an initial effort from Ethan Ampadu was saved by goalkeeper Dan Bentley.
Just 86 seconds later, Okafor doubled the lead, finishing at the back post from a precise cross by Brenden Aaronson to continue his impressive scoring run.
Wolves struggled to create clear chances in the first half, with their best opportunity seeing Ladislav Krejci denied by a block from Pascal Struijk before Calvert-Lewin cleared the danger.
The visitors improved after the break, forcing a strong save from Karl Darlow and missing another opportunity through Rodrigo Gomes. A chipped finish from Adam Armstrong was later ruled out for offside following a VAR review.
Leeds sealed the win in stoppage time when Calvert-Lewin converted a penalty he had won after being fouled by Hugo Bueno, following a well-timed pass from substitute Wilfried Gnonto.
The victory caps off a crucial week for Leeds, lifting them to 39 points in 15th place. They now sit comfortably above the relegation zone, six points ahead of Nottingham Forest and seven clear of West Ham, both of whom still have games to play.
