Manchester City is set to redeem itself on Wednesday when they see off Aston Villa at Etihad Stadium after a goalless draw with Arsenal on Sunday.

Pep Guardiola’s team already expressed the complexity of the game on its official website.

“It’s another tough game with Unai Emery’s team having an outstanding season and competing for a Champions League place,” it acknowledged.

Even though Mancity is 64 points above Villa, it seemed to be moved by the pace at which Emery’s team was moving.

“It’s a tough game against Unai Emery’s team, who are having a great season and vying for a spot in the Champions League,” Mancity expressed.

Arsenal’s pull to a gaoless match may have just crashed Man City’s hope and this Aston stands as an opportunity to revive the defending champions.

The Citizens would move three points up if they win to second place in the race.

They however stood a chance to take first place if they score more than five goals.
