Nkana Football Club has appointed Mwansa Kapyanga as its new Club Chief Executive Officer on a two-year contract.
The appointment was confirmed by Nkana FC President, Justine Bwalya, in a statement issued in Kitwe on Thursday.
Kapyanga brings more than 12 years experience in football governance, operations and team management.
His career includes senior roles at the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ), where he served as an Executive Committee Member and Chairperson for Northern Province.
“He has a proven track record of success in managing national teams, coordinating major tournaments, and implementing football development strategies,” Bwalya said.
He said Kapyanga played a key role in overseeing policies that promoted football development at national and regional levels, including the introduction of women’s football.

Bwalya said Kapyanga’s focus as CEO would be on strategic alignment, strengthening corporate governance and enhancing stakeholder relations to drive sustainable success at the club.
“His appointment represents a renewed commitment to achieving excellence both on and off the pitch,” he said.
