Harvest Group of Companies Limited is making bold moves in Africa’s logistics and hospitality sectors, showcasing its expanding haulage operations and catering excellence at the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF) 2025 in Algeria.
Group Managing Director, The Very Reverend Adaoha Ugo-Ngadi, speaking to a horde of international journalists, revealed that the Groups’s logistics arm now spanned Zambia, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Tanzania, Ghana and Burkina Faso, positioning the company as a force in regional trade.
With a recent investment in over 400 new tankers, and trucks to deliver petroleum products, industrial goods and other earth minerals across the continent, Harvest is building one of sub-Saharan Africa’s most far-reaching logistics networks.
“Our goal is simple—strengthen Africa’s supply chains, speed up delivery, and keep markets stable,” said Ugo-Ngadi.
“Haulage is not just about moving goods. It’s about powering economies and impacting lives,” she added.
The logistics backbone supports Harvest’s flagship energy business, which distributes gasoline, diesel, jet fuel and lubricants to a wide client base across the region.
By fusing technology, infrastructure and people-first innovation, Harvest Group is pushing to disrupt Africa’s logistics space while driving trade integration.
Executive Chairman, Ugochukwu Ikoro Ngadi, fielding questions from the media also submitted that the Group was unrelenting in its pursuit of value creation and impacting lives.
“Africa is the next frontier and people are at the centre of our growth and expansion plans. We are deliberate about creating value and will stop at nothing to empower the local communities where we do business,” he said.
Through its subsidiary, Labambam Place, Harvest is catering for more than 5,000 delegates at IATF 2025, showcasing Africa’s culinary delight at some of the event’s premium venues which include, among others, the Afreximbank President’s Lounge, Staff Lounge, Sponsors Lounge, Hosted Buyers Lounge, and the Carnex Concert.

Sister company, Labambam Express, is also participating at the Food Show.
“At IATF 2025, Labambam Place is not only catering for guests but also showcasing the flavours of Africa, with Nigerian cuisine as the centrepiece,” said Ugo-Ngadi.
Among international visitors who experienced Labambam’s kitchen were Mozambique’s President, Daniel Francisco Chapo, Cross River State Governor, Senator Prince Bassey Otu, Nigeria’s Minister of Trade and Investment, Dr. Olajumoke Omoniyi Oduwole, CEO of OANDO PLC, Wale Tinubu and both the former and current presidents of Afreximbank.
From its roots in Zambia, Harvest has grown into a diversified giant with interests in energy, logistics, e-commerce, hospitality and infrastructure development.
Accompanying the Harvest Group Managing Director, and Executive Chairman, on the IATF trip are Chief Finance Officer, Chimezie Ezima and
Head of Logistics, Ogugua Obidike.
The group’s leadership held side meetings with Afreximbank in-coming President, George Elombi; Executive Vice President of the Intra-African Trade Bank, African Export-Import Bank, Kanayo Awani; Director, Trade Facilitation and Investment Promotion, Dr Gainmore Zanamwe, among other dignitaries.
