FC Barcelona earned a 4–2 victory over Slavia Prague in a lively UEFA Champions League group-stage match on Wednesday night at the Fortuna Arena.

Slavia made a bright and energetic start, pressing aggressively and unsettling Barcelona in the early stages.

Their intensity was rewarded after just 10 minutes when Vasil Kusej capitalised on the pressure and fired the hosts into the lead.

In a match reported by SkySports, Barcelona gradually regained their composure, controlling possession and moving the ball with greater assurance in midfield.

Their improvement paid off in the 34th minute as Fermín López finished confidently to level the score. Only minutes later, Fermín struck again, completing his brace and turning the momentum in Barcelona’s favour.

Slavia, however, refused to fold and found an equaliser before the break when Robert Lewandowski inadvertently diverted the ball into his own net, leaving the match evenly poised at 2–2 at halftime.

Barcelona came out stronger after the restart, increasing the tempo and pinning Slavia back.

Dani Olmo restored the visitors’ lead with a calm finish following sustained pressure. Lewandowski later made amends for his earlier own goal, finding the net to secure a 4–2 win that strengthens Barcelona’s position in their pursuit of qualification for the next round.
