Facing a two-goal deficit, Tottenham responded strongly after the break that saw a Marc Guéhi own goal in the 53rd minute under pressure from Dominic Solanke brought Spurs back into contention.

According to the Guardian, Spurs’ comeback continued when Solanke himself scored in the 70th minute, controlling well before firing home to level the score at 2–2.

Both teams had opportunities to snatch a late winner as the match entered extended stoppage time, but neither could find the decisive goal in a thrilling finale that reflected the intensity of the Premier League battle.

Manchester City, who are chasing the title, dropping two points at a side outside the top tier could prove costly in a tight race.

Tottenham, struggling with injuries and inconsistent form, showed resilience to recover from two goals down.

The result leaves Manchester City near the top of the league standings as the season enters a busy February schedule, and gives Tottenham a morale boost as they aim for improved consistency in the second half of the campaign.
