Multiple Gulf Arab states hosting United States assets have been targeted in an Iranian retaliation strike, with Iranconfirming it launched attacks on US bases across the Middle East.
The Iranian government on Saturday acknowledged striking several locations, according to the Fars News Agency, including Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates, all of which host US military installations.
According to Al Jazeera, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed that all Israeli and US military targets in the Middle East had been hit “by the powerful blows of Iranian missiles”.
“This operation will continue relentlessly until the enemy is decisively defeated,” the IRGC said, adding that all US assets throughout the region are considered legitimate targets.

At least one person was reported killed in Abu Dhabi after several missiles launched from Iran were intercepted, according to the UAE’s state news agency.
Bahrain stated that a missile attack targeted the headquarters of the US Navy 5th Fleet, calling it a “treacherous attack” and “a blatant violation of the kingdom’s sovereignty and security”.
Al Jazeera Arabic also confirmed the sound of explosions in Kuwait, which hosts the US military’s Central Command headquarters.
In Qatar, the Defense Ministry said it “thwarted” several attacks on the country.
“The Ministry of Defense confirms that the threat was dealt with immediately upon detection, in accordance with the pre-approved security plan, and that all missiles were intercepted before reaching Qatari territory,” it said.
Qatar, Kuwait, and the UAE have all closed their airspaces as the region braces for further escalation.
