Brighton stun Liverpool 2–1 in Premier League clash

Brighton & Hove Albion secured an impressive 2–1 victory over Liverpool on Saturday in a lively Premier League encounter at the Amex Stadium.

Brighton took an early lead in the 14th minute when Danny Welbeck headed home after capitalising on poor defending.

According to the Guardian, Liverpool responded soon after, with Milos Kerkez scoring to level the match following a defensive mistake by Brighton.

The game remained competitive, with both sides pushing forward and creating chances in an open contest.

Brighton continued to press and controlled key moments, with their energy and organisation proving decisive.

The result boosted Brighton’s hopes of European qualification, while Liverpool’s push for a top-four finish suffered another setback.
