Kevin Hart slams ‘unrecognisable’ wax figure in viral outburst

Hollywood comedian, Kevin Hart, has sparked laughter across social media after publicly blasting a wax figure of himself unveiled at the Hollywood Wax Museum.

The actor and stand-up star took to Instagram with a fiery reaction, demanding a redo of the statue, which he described as a complete misrepresentation, Lol news reports.

In a post that quickly went viral, Hart jokingly accused the museum of a “personal attack,” questioning the identity of the figure.

“I demand a redo,” he wrote in an all-caps rant that left fans amused, as he criticised the likeness for failing to capture his facial features despite getting some details, like his signature gold chain, right.

The backlash quickly drew in fellow entertainer and longtime friend, Dwayne Johnson, who added humour to the situation by sarcastically praising the statue.

Johnson urged the museum not to make any changes, joking that the figure was “perfect.”

Adding to the online frenzy, Madame Tussauds — widely known for its highly realistic celebrity figures — joined the conversation with a brief but pointed response: “Would never be us,” distancing itself from the controversy.

Hart’s experience has reignited discussions around poorly executed wax figures, placing him among celebrities who have previously been the subject of questionable recreations.

Past examples frequently cited online include flawed depictions of stars like Beyoncé, Naomi Campbell and Nicole Kidman.

Despite the criticism, the incident has generated widespread attention for the Tennessee museum, with many noting that even negative publicity can translate into increased visitor interest.

It remains unclear whether the museum will revise or replace the figure, but for now, Hart’s reaction has turned an awkward unveiling into a viral moment — proving once again that humour can turn even the strangest situations into entertainment.
